Crayon Melting
Peel the paper off all of your broken crayons.
Place broken pieces in a cupcake tin.
Put in the oven on the lowest setting.
Once melted, put the cupcake tin in the freezer.
Give it about 30 minutes to harden.
Flip the tin over and they should pop right out! If not, give a light tap.
Voila! You have a multi colored big chunky crayon.
You can also use baking tins with varying shapes.
We did this activity today and the kids had a great time! Some of ours cracked afterwards, but they liked seeing the different layers and drawing with them.
